St. Patrick’s Day is on March 17. It is an Irish holiday, but people all over the world celebrate it. Here in Hawaii, people celebrate St. Patrick’s Day by wearing green, eating corned beef and cabbage, and sometimes drinking green beer! People say if you don’t wear green on St. Patrick’s Day, others can pinch you! So, make sure to wear green!!

To talk about HOW someone celebrates a holiday, we use:

[gerund = verb + ~ing]

For example,

People celebrate St. Patrick’s Day by wearing green.
